Mock-up for a Smirnoff three dimensional window display.

Smirnoff

Window Display Design

Duration • 2 Weeks from design to prototype

Role • Team leader & graphic designer

For this project I was entrusted with the task of transforming Smirnoff's brand into an engaging window display. I carefully adhered to their art and brand guidelines by combining the vector capabilites of Adobe Illustrator with the image manipulation in Adobe Photoshop. While working on the design, I ensured every measurement met their required specifications for the window display.

After completing the initial design, I submitted a proof to the creative director for approval. He was very happy the design met the brand guidelines in every way and approved the proof for constructing a prototype. This phase was'nt just about preparing the files for printing and production, but making sure every aspect of the display was pixel perfect and matched the two dimensional proof in a three dimensional display. After printing all the necessary components I relayed all the information on how the display should be assembled in detail with the production team. I reviewed the completed prototype with the production team prior to sending photographs to the creative director for approval.

Final Outcome

Below is the final prototype that was approved for mass production. The creative director was excited with the final product and how quickly we were able to produce the prototype. Collaborating with the production team was crucial to ensure the design transitioned flawlessly from digital design to a tangible prototype. In essence, this project was a journey of translating a brand into a compelling window display with each step dedicated to creating a resonating design for the audience. The final approved product was then mass produced and shipped to 100 stores nationwide. This proves the project was an absolute success from design to final production in every way.
